This particular pathway provides accelerated programs of study for those who have completed a three-year undergraduate degree or similar equivalent award. It provides for two streams of study, in Ministry or in Theological Studies.

This award is also available in distance education mode.

Master of Arts

A one and one-half year program of studies, with an exit after four (4) units with a Graduate Certificate in Arts and after eight (8) units with a Graduate Diploma of Arts.

Master of Arts (Honours)

A two-year (or part-time equivalent) program of graduate study in a theologically related discipline for candidates with an honours Bachelor's degree (non-theological) with results at not less than Second Class (Division 1) or a SCD Master of Arts or equivalent with results mainly at credit level and including the Long Essay.

Doctor of Philosophy

A doctorate in philosophy in theologically related disciplines by research and the submission of a thesis. Candidates should have completed a four-year Bachelor Honours award, or equivalent, with results at First Class or Second Class (Division 1), or hold the SCD MA(Hons) or equivalent. The duration is 4 years full-time or 12 years part-time.
